Delivery & returns

How it arrives.

One piece, one run, one morning. Everything below is what happens between the first of the month and your door — written out in full, because a house that only ships twelve times a year has no excuse for being vague about it.

Every edition shown here is closed

Nothing on this site can be ordered today. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment here, and prices appear only as a record of what a piece was released at. This page describes how a drop is fulfilled once it opens — so that when you join the list, you already know what you are joining.

Dispatch

The whole edition leaves us within two working days of the drop opening. It goes out in one run, by hand.

Lost or damaged

Replaced from the edition reserve, at our cost. If the reserve is gone, refunded in full — we do not substitute.

Returns

Thirty days, unopened, seals intact. Opened cosmetics cannot come back to us.

Destinations

Where the house ships

Worldwide, from Vancouver. A drop posts within two working days of the release: an edition that opens on the first is in the network by the third. Nothing waits on a second run, because there is never a second run.

Canada
Two to five working days once posted. Tracked to the door.
United States
Three to seven working days. Tracked, and handed to the local carrier for the last mile.
United Kingdom & Europe
Five to ten working days, tracked through to delivery.
Rest of world
Seven to fifteen working days. Tracked as far as the destination network carries a scan.
Timings
Working days after dispatch, and indicative rather than promised. Customs, weather and the last mile are not ours to guarantee — the two working days are.

What it costs

One flat rate, or nothing

Shipping is charged at a flat rate by destination and falls away above a threshold. It is priced to cover the parcel, not to make anything on it.

Canada
$12 flat, or free over $150.
United States
$18 flat, or free over $200.
United Kingdom & Europe
$28 flat, or free over $250.
Rest of world
$34 flat, or free over $300.
Currency
All figures in Canadian dollars, the currency a drop releases in.

Crossing a border

Duties and customs

Where we can settle a border charge before the parcel travels, we do. Where a destination will not let us, we say so here rather than at your door.

Canada
Tax is included in the price shown at the drop. Nothing further is collected.
United States
Sent duty-paid. Nothing is asked of you on delivery.
United Kingdom & Europe
Sent duty-paid where the destination permits it. Where it does not, the carrier contacts you before delivery, and the amount is set by the destination rather than by us.
Rest of world
Import duty and tax are charged by the destination and are the recipient’s to settle. We declare the full value of the piece and cannot describe a parcel as a gift or a sample.
A refused parcel
A parcel refused at the border returns to us. We refund the edition price once it lands back; the outbound postage cannot be recovered.
Mirevoir pieces laid out in frosted glass and brushed brass, ready to be packed.
Tracking

One message, the moment it is scanned.

A tracking number is emailed the moment the parcel enters the network — the carrier, the number, and a link that stays live for ninety days. It comes from the same address the drop notice came from, so look there first.

After that we go quiet. There is no dispatch sequence, no delivery survey and no follow-up campaign. If a scan stops moving, write to us and we will chase the carrier ourselves rather than sending you to do it.

If it goes wrong

Lost in transit, or broken on arrival

Every edition holds a small number of pieces back — unnumbered, never sold, kept for exactly this. It is the only stock the house keeps, and it is why a replacement is possible at all.

Lost
If tracking has not moved for ten working days we treat the parcel as lost and send a replacement from the reserve. You do not need to open a case with the carrier; we do that.
Damaged
Send us a photograph within seven days of delivery. A replacement leaves the same week, at our cost, and the damaged piece is yours to keep or discard — we do not ask for broken glass to be posted back.
The reserve
Small by design. It covers the run, and it is not a way to buy a closed edition after the fact.
When the reserve is empty
Then there is nothing to replace it with, and we will say so plainly. You are refunded in full, shipping included, within three working days. We do not offer next month’s piece in its place.

Returns

Thirty days, unopened

A piece that has not been opened can come back to us for a month. A piece that has been opened cannot, and no exception is made for it.

The window
Thirty days from delivery. Write to us first with the drop number so the return can be matched to its edition — a parcel that arrives unannounced can sit for weeks.
Condition
Unopened, seals intact, in the outer box it arrived in.
Opened cosmetics
Cannot be returned. Anything made to touch a mouth, an eye or skin is not resold, not restocked and not passed on, for hygiene reasons. Once a seal is broken, that piece is yours.
Faulty or wrong
Our error, our postage, both ways. Tell us within thirty days and we send the label.
Return postage
Yours when you have simply changed your mind. We still send the label, so the parcel travels tracked and the refund is not left waiting on a lost return.
Refunds
Issued to the original method of payment within three working days of the return reaching us, for the price of the piece. Banks take a further five to ten days to show it — that part is out of our hands.
Exchanges
Possible only while that edition lasts. Once the run and the reserve are gone the edition is closed for good, and a refund is the only thing left to offer. Nothing is carried over into the next month.

Anything else

The rest is answered plainly.

Editions, numbering, what happens if you miss the first of the month — the questions page covers all of it. If it does not, write to the house and a person answers.
